05 / A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you
say hello.

How do I join my conference?

Minglet is being piloted with participating events. Your organizer provides iPhone access and an invitation code. Sign in with Google in the native app, enter your code, and choose what you’d like to get out of the event. Existing GitHub sign-in is still supported.

Do I need GitHub or LinkedIn?

They’re optional sources, separate from Google sign-in. Connect GitHub to add context from public projects, or supply your own public LinkedIn URL for enrichment. You can also edit your bio, interests, and goals yourself. Adding a LinkedIn URL imports public information; it doesn’t sign you into LinkedIn or verify ownership.

What gets shared on my profile?

Supported interests from connected sources publish automatically. You can edit them, change your experience level, or turn individual topics off in your profile. Your conference goals have their own sharing controls. Private source snapshots and calendar details are not part of the organizer’s network view.

What can Pip help with?

Pip is an AI companion in your mutual-match chats. It introduces you around shared interests, suggests conversation starters, and can draw on the organizer’s event guide when you mention @Pip. Its replies have inspectable sources. It doesn’t read your calendar or book a meeting for you.

Does Google sign-in give Minglet calendar access?

No. Calendar is a separate opt-in from Connected profiles. In a match chat, propose a time and place; the other person must accept before it’s confirmed. When connected, Minglet checks primary Google Calendar availability and adds confirmed meeting entries. Other calendars can still contain conflicts.

Can organizers read our chats?

Organizer access doesn’t include private match conversations. The web workspace shows conference membership, published profile information, technical connections, recorded interest, and mutual matches. Shared interests alone are not treated as mutual interest.

A LITTLE COMMON GROUND GOES A LONG WAY.

See you
out there.
